How does Guru Siyag’s Yoga (GSY) cure diseases?

Diseases that humans suffer from are classified by modern medical science into two broad categories — physical and mental. These are treated with internal medicines and/or external medicines or therapeutic applications. Ancient Indian sages delved deep into the mysteries of life through meditation and learned that diseases are not caused by accidental exposure to germs or pathogens alone, as medical scientists believe. They learned that much of human suffering is actually caused by the actions of each individual in his/her past life. Each action leads to a reaction in the same life cycle or carried over to the next. Since each individual is trapped in an unending cycle of life and death, suffering through diseases and highs and lows of life continues ceaselessly. In other words, the spiritual Law of Karma — actions of the past resulting in diseases and other forms of suffering in the present life — governs human existence, life after life in a never-ending cycle. 

According to yogic texts, sanskara (deep impressions or seed habit patterns) of past lives and karma of the present one shape the course of our present life. In his treatise ‘Yoga Sutra', the Indian sage Patanjali classified diseases into three categories – physical (Adhidehik), mental (Adhibhautik) and spiritual (Adhidaivik). One can free himself completely from this Trividhi-Tap (threefold affliction) only by taking recourse to a Siddha Guru and practicing Siddha Yoga Sadhana (spiritual practice) regularly. Guru Siyag says, “Throughout the world only physical exercises are being performed in the name of Yoga. When I went to the United States of America I saw that there too, Yoga meant physical exercise. But the aim of the Yoga described in Vedic philosophy is Moksha or liberation from the cycle of life and death. In fact, Vedic philosophy does not speak of diseases at all. For instance, the Patanjali Yoga philosophy has 195 sutras (aphorisms) and none of those mention anything about diseases. The philosophy speaks of the ways in which the imprints (sanskara) of past lives can be destroyed.”

Only regular practice of yoga under the guidance of a spiritual master like Guru Siyag can help the practitioner find a spiritual remedy for all his/her afflictions. The practice of GSY helps a disciple to cut through the web of Karmic past, to get rid of diseases and to realize the true purpose of his / her life through self-realization (atma sakshatkar).

I must say that it's quite difficult to conceive intellectually what exactly that Supermind is and to describe it, another language would be needed than the poor abstract counters of the mind. 

Sri Aurobindo had said that -
"The transition from mind to Supermind is a passage from Nature to Supernature. For that very reason it cannot be achieved by a mere effort of our mind or unaided aspiration. 

Four steps of ascent lead from the human intelligence to the Supermind are Higher Mind, Illumined Mind, Intuitive Mind and Overmind. 
The Overmind descent is not sufficient enough to transform wholly the Unconscience, the Supramental Force alone is capable of achieving this. "

Swami Vivekananda's teachings also affirms the same that without the help of Guru (who's verily the Parabrahman, the Supramental Consciousness), one can't achieve the Ultimate Consciousness. 

Hence, we need 'Guru, the Perfected Master' for that Ultimate Transformation.
